Daniel’s Recovery Story

While the genetic component of addiction is not fully understood, it is undeniable that the risk of developing a substance abuse disorder is increased when there’s a history of addiction in the family. That’s exactly what happened for father-son duo and Recovery Coaches Ralph and Daniel. With his own experiences in addiction, Ralph recognized the signs in his son pretty quickly. Though Daniel was not using at home, he found ways to do so at school with his friends as a way to cope with his mother’s recent cancer diagnosis. Thankfully Ralph was able to intervene and find him help with Safe Landing Recovery. Now the father and son help guide others to find a better path through sobriety.
